Learn how to make a low fat version of Paneer while still keeping all the good stuff like protein, calcium, magnesium and the taste!
Paneer is a traditional South Asian fresh cheese. This non-aged, non-melting soft cheese is often used in curries but can be eaten as a snack, on a salad or in a sandwich. It serves to be an easy way to add protein to your diet which makes it very popular with vegetarians.
Paneer has a similar consistency to cottage cheese. It is readily available in stores, however, the store bought versions are high in fat and additives. It’s a relatively easy cheese to make and can be made with a lower fat milk. This lowers the fat content of the cheese while keeping all the good stuff like protein, calcium and magnesium.
